75th Anniversary of Archibald Knox's Death. 22nd/23rd Feb 2008
In conjunction with Manx National Heritage and sponsored by Anglo Irish Bank the Society has organised several events over the weekend to celebrate Knox's life and work.
St Mathew's Church, Friday 22nd Feb
This event will commence at 7.00pm with the Manx Choir, Caarjyn Cooidjagh followed by Peter Kelly's leacture on Archibald Knox. The evening ends with a recption in adjacent Church Hall. This event will be open to the public and admission is free. So bring along friends. We will produce a commemoration programme for the evening.

Meet at the Manx Museum: Guided tour of Knox artefacts by Museum Curator, Yvonne Cresswell. Followed by and Audio Visual Presentation of the Deer's Cry in the main Museum Lecture Theatre.

Bus leaves the Museum: Visit the Douglas School of Art, Cronkbourne village Tromode, Knox's grave Braddan. Douglas Quay, Expert guides Peter Kelly (Victorian Society) and Frank Cowin (Manx Historian). |

Bus leaves for Maughold. Guided tour of Manx Crosses and Hall Caine Memorial. |

The cost of the Knox Trail and Dinner at the Sefton (all inclusive) is £65 per person. Should you wish to attend the reception and dinner only the cost is £30 per person.
